Seattle Wedding at Sodo Park

The wedding was in Seattle, Washington. We started the day getting ready and taking photos at the Thompson Seattle Hotel and the ceremony was nearby at Sodo Park. I have to say we got so incredibly lucky with the weather as it was pouring rain the previous days, but the day of was a perfect mix of blue sky's and thick clouds to soften the sun's light.

Alexa and Ian were both relieved by the weather and anxious to see each other. Once they had their first look, it seems as though all of their nerves had been calmed by each other's presence and they were able to joke, laugh, and enjoy each moment of their day together.

The beauty of this wedding was beyond our expectations or dreams. The venue was open and romantic, the flowers perfectly decorating the venue and the ladies whom they adorned. The bride's dress was the most dramatically beautiful I have ever seen, and the couple themselves were not only gorgeous people but so tangibly in love.

They prepared for the ceremony amongst friends and family and their most beloved creatures, their english bull dogs.  They privately read vows that they had written each other and they whispered a few last sweet nothings to each other before making their way to the aisle.

They were married by the bride's brother and celebrated in both Jewish and traditional American styles. This is the kind of wedding that makes our hearts tick. Two people madly in love surrounded and supported by friends and family as they vow their lives to one another.  As they danced the night away, the romantic slow jams turned to new age hip-hop and the couple showed everyone that they knew how to Dougie.

We are so happy for the newly married couple and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
