Ocean Defenders

Ocean Defenders Alliance is an incredible non profit organisation based in Southern California. Kurt Leiber and his team collect trash from the beaches and ocean, often diving to the sea floor to recover fishing nets, lobster traps and any other trash they may find. The lobster traps are then returned to the fishermen to limit waste.

The crew is a tight knit family, they are all volunteers with a genuine interest in protecting wildlife and preserving our earth. This trip, we were lucky enough to see some common and the more rare- pacific white sided dolphins.
